Store the unit upright with all blade assemblies stored inside or attached to their respective containers with their lids locked into place. DO NOT stack items on top of the containers. Place the lid on top of the Precision Processor Bowl, with the silver line on the tab on the lid aligned slightly to the right of the tab on the front of the bowl. Turn the lid clockwise to lock it in place. When properly locked, the silver line on the lid will line up with the silver line on the bowl.
Remove the lid by pressing the release button on the front tab, twisting the lid counterclockwise, then lifting. Always remove the Chopping Blade Assembly before emptying any of the ingredients in the bowl. To remove the Chopping Blade Assembly, carefully grasp it by the top of the shaft and lift it out of the bowl.

The all-black plastic blade assembly is the dough blade assembly and should only be used when making dough, bread, or batter. The other blade assembly is our chopping blade assembly, which is used for every other instance, including chopping, mixing, pureeing, and mincing.
