What is Dual Stage Blending?

Dual Stage Blending is a patented technology where two blades operate at different speeds at the same time. The bottom High Speed Cyclonic blades rotate at 24,000 RPM to liquefy ingredients into a smooth, no-grit consistency, while the top Total Crushing blades rotate at 5,000 RPM to break down whole fruits, vegetables & ice in seconds. Traditional blenders lack the power, speed and versatility to give you the ultimate, beyond professional performance!

When do I use the top and/or bottom blade with my Ninja Ultima Blender?

The Ninja Ultima Blender blade system has two options for use for optimal performance. Option 1 is to use the Bottom Blade only. This option works best for recipes such as hummus, dips, tomato sauces & vegetable purees. Here"s a tip- when making sauces or purees use the bottom blade on low speed and slowly increase to high. This will help to contain all your ingredients so they mix evenly. The second option requires Top blade and bottom blades together. This option works best for any recipes with frozen or tough ingredients " for example, recipes that use whole fruits or vegetables, or frozen cocktails with ice or frozen fruits.

What is PRO Variable Speed?

The Ninja Ultima Blender has specially engineered a wide range of speeds for all of your food and beverage recipes that we call PRO Variable Speed. The lower speed zones, such as 1-3, are optimal for recipes such as dips, spreads & sauces. Middle speed zones, such as 4-6, are great for smoothies, shakes & purees. Higher speeds, such as 7-10, are perfect if you are creating nut butters, whole juices, flours & frozen cocktails.

Why is there a Max Liquid Capacity on the blender?

While the machine will still work above that fill line, keeping below that line avoids all risk of spilling.

How do I open the Pour spout on the pitcher

The easiest way to open the pour spot is to push on the back of the lid with your index finger and lift the front of the lid with your hand.

How do I care for my Ninja Ultima blender?

Use a damp cloth to wipe the motor base clean. The pitcher, blades, & lid are dishwasher safe, and it is recommended to put the blades and lid on the top rack. Use extreme caution when cleaning & handling the blades. Always store the blades in containers or a safe area.

How do I clean my Ninja Ultima blender?

Squeeze 2-3 drops of dish soap into the jar, fill halfway with warm water and pulse 5-10 times. The Ninja Ultima blender is also dishwasher safe.

What is the benefit of the electronic slow start?

The electronic slow start allows the blade to slowly ramp up to the chosen setting, preventing ingredients from splattering onto the side of the pitcher at initial start-up. Splattering of seeds or peanuts on the sides of the jar would otherwise prohibit ingredients from fully incorporating.
