Why do certain programs not work?

The programs were designed to give you the best results for the jar you are working with. As such not all the programs work on all the jars. For example, the stacked blades in our pitcher are best for crushing ice, so the frozen drink button is not available on our food processor because your results simply wouldn"t be as good.

Sometimes the clock counts up, other times it counts down?

All of our Auto-iQ programs are timed to finish on their own so you don't have to stand their and watch to make sure your results come out great. Our speeds however (low, med, hi) will start counting from 0 and count up until the auto-shut off is reached.

What is Auto-iQ Technology?

Auto-iQ Technology is one-touch intelligent programs designed specifically for each jar attachment. These intelligent programs combine unique, timed pulsing, blending and pausing patterns that do the work for you! Great results every time with no guesswork required!

Why does the power light always blink?

The pitcher is not properly assembled. Make sure the pitcher lid is assembled properly aligning the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the handle. Press down firmly on the handle until you hear a slight click to ensure it is fully engaged. The unit will not run if the lid is not assembled correctly & the handle is not fully engaged.

The unit may be overheated.

As a safety feature the motor will automatically shut off if it becomes too warm during heavy loads. Unplug the unit from the wall & wait 15 minutes before using again.

My blender turns on, but why doesn't the blade rotate?

It is possible that you have overfilled your vessel, carefully remove some ingredients & try again. It is also possible that the thermal protection has been activated, unplug your unit & wait 15 minutes before plugging back in.

Why do only certain buttons light up when I put the (blender/Nutri Ninja/FP Bowl) on the base?

Each program has been designed specifically for the jar attached to the base. Certain programs will only work when certain jars are attached. If the program light does not illuminate when the jar is attached, that program will not run and you will get an "ERR" message on the display.

Why do I get a flashing "ERR" message on the display with my Nutri Ninja cup?

With your Nutri Ninja cup there is a safety feature that after you run 3 consecutive times without removing the cup from the base the blender will shut off and you will have to unplug your unit and wait 15 minutes to be able to use it again.

What is Total Crushing technology?

Total Crushing technology delivers unbeatable professional power with blades that pulverize and crush through ice and frozen fruits in seconds.

What is Nutrient & Vitamin Extraction?

Nutri Ninja Cups can blend whole fruits, vegetables, greens, seeds & stems into nutrient-rich beverages in seconds! Traditional juicers provide little juice and remove the pulp which contains the healthy fiber, whereas the Nutri Ninja Cups provides complete juicing with the benefits of entire fruits and vegetables, not just the juice. These juices are bursting with health-boosting vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, trace elements and plant nutrients!

Why does the Auto-iQ Pulse button not run a program like the other Auto-iQ buttons?

The Auto-iQ Pulse button is unique in that you need to hold it down for it to operate properly. This program is not timed. Instead, the blades will pulse in short, quick bursts for as long as you hold the button down. This provides optimal control for perfect even chopping every time.
