The basket is nonstick and has a ceramic coating that is PTFE-free, FDA approved and food safe. As with any nonstick surface, we recommend cooking with scratch-resistant, non-metal utensils, and cleaning with non-abrasive materials only. Minor scratches should not affect performance, as long as most of the non-stick coating is still in place. If a change in performance is noticed, we recommend ordering a replacement basket.

We suggest cleaning the basket after each use. Before cleaning, unplug the unit from the wall outlet. To clean the main unit and the control panel, wipe them with a damp cloth. The basket and crisper plate are both dishwasher safe. If there is food residue stuck on the crisper plate or basket, place them in a sink filled with warm soapy water and allow them to soak. Use a soft sponge to help remove any remaining residue.

The Ninja Air Fryer is approximately 14" (L) x 11" (W) x 13" (H) and weighs approximately 10 pounds.
The basket holds up to 4 quarts. It can comfortably cook a 2-pound bag of French fries.
Yes. It is safe to use parchment paper in the air fryer basket.
Yes. It is safe to use aluminum foil, and it is suggested in some recipes.
Yes. The Ninja Air Fryer can also roast, reheat and dehydrate food.
This unit is 1550 watts.
The temperature ranges from 105 degrees F (in Dehydrate) to 400 degrees F (in Air Fry).
The timer increments vary depending on the function: -Air Fry: 1-minute increments up to 1 hour. -Roast: 1-minute increments for the first hour, followed by 5-minute increments for the next 3 hours. -Dehydrate: 15-minute increments up to 12 hours. -Reheat: 1-minute increments up to 1 hour.
When the unit is powered on, the digital display will show 0:00.
For best results, we recommend that you preheat the unit for 3 minutes before adding your ingredients. To preheat, simply add an additional 3 minutes to your total cook time and allow the unit to come up to temperature before adding ingredients.
Yes. The unit is BPA-free and uses FDA-approved food-safe plastic.
The basket and crisper plate are both made out of aluminum and have a non-stick ceramic coating.
Although the outside of the unit will heat up during the cooking process, the UI and basket handle will remain cool to touch.
Yes. It is important to shake or rotate your food for consistent browning and crispiness. For best results, please follow the recipe or cooking chart to find out how often you should shake or rotate your ingredients while cooking.
Although oil is not required, we recommend starting with one tablespoon and adjusting for personal preference, or referencing the recipe for proper oil amounts.
Yes, we recommend checking on your food regularly throughout the cooking process. Simply pull out the basket and shake or rotate the food. When you are done, slide the basket back into place to continue cooking to your desired level of browning or crispiness. Please note that the timer will continue to run while the basket is removed.
To set the cooking time, use the Time up and down arrows on the right side of the digital display. You can change the time at any point throughout the cooking process with the up and down arrows.
To set the cooking temperature, use the Temp up and down arrows on the left side of the digital display. You can adjust the temperature at any time throughout the cooking process with the up and down arrows.
The power button is located on the bottom left side of the unit.
No. If you simply pull the basket out of the unit, the timer will continue to count down and the fan will continue to spin. To pause the unit, please press the START/PAUSE button.
The Ninja Air Fryer has a 1-year limited warranty.
The exhaust vent is located on the back side of the unit. This area will heat up during the cooking process. Be sure to keep the unit at least 5 inches away from any other surfaces.
The power cord is approximately 32 inches long.
